Action Tracking Feature Set

The Action Tracking add-on to VISION introduces a powerful feedback and change management tool to your workflow. With Action Tracking, "actions" can be defined throughout the VISION Learning Station, linked to the relevant SAT database items, and assigned and tracked through the Action Tracking administration interface. Learners can offer feedback for review and assignment by training administrators, and admins can directly create complex change requests and assign them to the right party, along with due dates and email notifications for upcoming due items.

The full Action Tracking system is available in the VISION Evergreen product version line and includes the ability to create Action Items from all SAT hierarchies within the VISION database. A limited early version of Action Tracking has been available in the 9.X product series, which only provides the ability to set Action Items on courses within the Program hierarchy.

  • The full Action Tracking experience includes the ability to create an "Action Item" which is linked to the appropriate SAT database item.
  • Actions can be created and linked to Tasks, Objectives, Lessons, Courses - actions can be linked to nodes in the Program, Objective, and Analysis hierarchies within VISION.
  • A full-featured administration area within VISION Learning Station provides the ability to manage your organization's action items.
  • Enhanced reporting capability including full search, sort and editing capabilities.
  • Ability to export Action Tracking data from the admin page as common filetypes for additional reporting needs.
  • Action items may be assigned to the appropriate user in your organization.

  • Due dates may be set with notification capabilities to ensure that everyone stays informed and efficient.
  • In VISION Developer, all action items are visible on each relevant node, and the instructor or admin can quickly find and open the action item for review or edit.
