VISION Developer Basic Workshop
Goal: This workshop covers the basics of operating VISION Developer Version 9. It is aimed at the basic user, such as instructors and instructional technologists.
Participants will be able to navigate the system, perform the core instructional activities and generate reports, exams, and job performance metrics (JPMs) after completing the course. This basic training has been enhanced to utilize a more blended learning approach to maximize the use of the instructor and raise the level of the terminal objective to one that corresponds to the VISION user's real-world environment.
Who will benefit: Anyone charged with using VISION Developer to conduct any or all parts of the ISD/SAT process, supervisors who would like to understand how VISION works, and users who want an in-depth refresher on the basics will benefit from this workshop.

VISION Developer Advanced Workshop
Goal: This workshop explores advanced features of VISION Developer Version 9.
Participants will perform tasks such as setting security, initiating new projects, using import and export, and a wide array of advanced features not performed by the everyday user.
Who will benefit: This workshop is aimed at the individual(s) at a site charged as the VISION "project owner," including individuals charged with administrative tasks.
VISION Developer Basic & Advanced Training (with VISION 9)

This workshop covers both the basic and advanced concepts of operating VISION Developer. It is aimed at both new and experienced users of VISION. This is an accelerated workshop in that it combines basic and advanced concepts. Ideally, attendees should have at least a working knowledge of the VISION Developer module and the ADDIE process.

VISION Learning Station Basic Workshop
Goal: This workshop covers the basics of VISION Learning Station Version 6.
Participants use VISION Learning Station effectively to create and manage learning activities and produce useful online outcomes.
Who will benefit: Anyone who is charged with the VISION Learning Station to create and/or manage the system, and users who want an in-depth refresher on the basics will benefit.

VISION Report Generator Workshop
Goal: This workshop covers the VISION proprietary report-scripting language to create simple VISION reports.
Participants of this workshop will be able to use the VISION proprietary report-scripting language to create simple VISION reports based on given end-user specification and troubleshoot errors in existing reports.
Who will benefit: With a current maintenance agreement, FOCUS will produce custom reports or modify existing reports up to a limited amount of time at no additional cost to your site. If your site wishes someone to be capable of generating reports and documents beyond that of the maintenance agreement, or to have the capability to do so if needed, then participation in this workshop by students with the required background and aptitude will benefit your organization.

SAT Process Workshop
Goal: This workshop enables participants to utilize proven Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) techniques to create an effective, best practice training program.
This workshop lays out the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process in the ADDIE form, with essential standards and information specifically aligned with corresponding VISION activities.
Who will benefit: This workshop is aimed at those who are familiar with the SAT methodology but are particularly interested in how the VISION system supports each stage of the SAT process.

Location: All workshops will be held at The Cliffs Hotel in Pismo Beach, CA.
