VISION Developer Basic Workshop
Goal: This workshop covers the basics of operating VISION Developer. It is aimed at the basic user, such as instructors and instructional technologists. 
Participants will be able to navigate the system, perform the core instructional activities and generate reports, exams, and job performance metrics (JPMs) after completing the course. This basic training has been enhanced to utilize a more blended learning approach to maximize the use of the instructor and raise the level of the terminal objective to one that corresponds to the VISION user's real-world environment. 
Who will benefit: Anyone charged with using VISION Developer to conduct any or all parts of the ISD/SAT process, supervisors who would like to understand how VISION works, and users who want an in-depth refresher on the basics will benefit from this workshop.

VISION Developer Advanced Workshop
Goal: This workshop explores advanced features of VISION Developer. 
Participants will perform tasks such as setting security, initiating new projects, using import and export, and a wide array of advanced features not performed by the everyday user. 
Who will benefit: This workshop is aimed at the individual(s) at a site charged as the VISION "project owner," including individuals charged with administrative tasks. 
VISION Developer Basic & Advanced Training (with VISION 9)

This workshop covers both the basic and advanced concepts of operating VISION Developer. It is aimed at both new and experienced users of VISION. This is an accelerated workshop in that it combines basic and advanced concepts. Ideally, attendees should have at least a working knowledge of the VISION Developer module and the ADDIE process.


VISION Learning Station Basic Workshop
Goal: This workshop covers the basics of VISION Learning Station. 
Participants use VISION Learning Station effectively to create and manage learning activities and produce useful online outcomes.
Who will benefit: Anyone who is charged with the VISION Learning Station to create and/or manage the system, and users who want an in-depth refresher on the basics will benefit. 

VISION Learning Labs

VISION Learning Labs (VLLs) are virtual, informal coaching sessions designed to help your team explore new features, improve skills and overcome challenges. These interactive sessions allow you to receive real-time guidance from our experts, helping your team get the most out of VISION's tools and services. 

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing enhanced service and support to all of our customers, we offer monthly VISION Learning Labs at no additional cost. These sessions are perfect for ongoing support, enabling your team to stay up to date with the latest features and best practices.

November's VISION Learning Lab will be held on November 19th at 10:00 AM PST and presented by Pam Scarber. This session will cover VLL-208: Delivering Online Exams. Make sure to register before November 18th at 12:00 PM PST to be on the list for this VLL.

December's VISION Learning Lab will be held on December 17th at 11:00 AM PST and presented by John Martin. This session will cover VLL-104: Using VISION’s Analysis Hierarchy Tools to Produce Superior Job and Task Analysis Outcomes. Make sure to register before December 16th at 12:00 PM PST to be on the list for this VLL.

VISION Learning Lab Registration


VISION Product Roadmap User Group

VISION Product Roadmap User Group (VPRUG) is a monthly gathering designed for VISION users and FOCUS Learning product developers. These sessions provide a closer look at the VISION product suite's roadmap, including updates on current and upcoming releases, feature enhancements, and future plans. 

During VPRUG meetings, FOCUS product and development leaders will present demos of new features and discuss the latest product updates. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and suggest topics for future sessions. 

Meeting Schedule: 

VPRUG meetings are currently held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 12:00 PM PST/ 2:00 PM CST, led by James Parkman, Director of Product Management at FOCUS Learning.

VISION PER-005/T&D User Group

VISION PER-005/T&D User Group is a community of instructors that shares SAT/ADDIE-based best practices for building efficient, effective training programs leveraging VISION’s tools.  PER-005 is the NERC SAT/ADDIE reliability standard that applies to training programs for real-time bulk electric system operators.  While the group focuses on the PER-005 standard, it has proven beneficial to instructional designers across industries.

The group is open to FOCUS Learning customers and trainers from companies considering adopting VISION.  The group meets monthly.  Sessions are topical and involve hands-on demonstrations with facilitated discussions. They are led primarily by customers with some topics being presented by FOCUS Learning.

Meeting Schedule:

VISION PER-005/T&D User Group meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 11:00 AM EST/ 8:00 AM PST, led by John Martin of FOCUS Learning’s Customer Success team.
